Velorbis and Mads both have a common interest in design and quality. To move up to a higher level, both brands put their heart and soul into these components. The results of the collaboration is a stylish and true Copenhagen bicycle.

The bike is designed inspired by the short John carrier bike. The color is the historical Copenhagen green, known from classic Copenhagen benches and ancient city gates.

The collaboration also covers a men and women – Arrow – Fixie racer bike, also in classic Copenhagen green.

In connection with the exhibition Pop Art Design, Louisiana are hosting a number of events and lectures. This upcoming event is named Window(s)-shopping. Art in (store) windows is not a novel idea in the 20th century, but from the late 1950’s the phenomenon accelerated. What is the status in today’s digital era? Designer and retailer Mads Nørgaard, architect and tv-host Ane Cortzen and Louisiana curator Anders Kold discuss the creative cross currents and slippery stone of this field.

From April 5. – June 30. 2013. Gl Holtegaard art gallery presents the exhibition Out of Fashion – Textiles in Contemporary Art. The exhibition points to the link between art and clothing and to the handicraft itself as a typically female occupation. Precisely handicraft – embroidery, crochet work and sewing have in recent years become synonymous with a kind of anti-art, or rebel-art, where female artists use the craft to convey political and social messages. At Out of Fashion one can meet the craft as a reflection on stereotypes and conventions about the body in works by such artists as Gudrun Hasle (DK), Erwin Wurm (A) and Cosima von Bonin (D).

In connection with the exhibition, participating artist Gudrun Hasle and Mads Nørgaard have joined forces and created 24 specially designed Nørgaard på Strøget 101 t-shirts. The 101 Nørgaard på Strøget t-shirt was originally designet in 1967 by Jørgen Nørgaard. The T-shirts are one size and  will be sold exclusively at Gl Holtegaard art gallery shop.
